Enhancing Probate Court Awareness in Suffolk County

Our vision is to create a well-informed community in Suffolk County, Boston, about the essential role and functions of the Probate Court. We aim to bridge the gap between the court’s operations and the public by implementing a multifaceted educational campaign and fostering direct engagement with voters.

Educational Outreach: We will develop and deploy a comprehensive educational initiative that demystifies the Probate Court. This will include:

  • Informational Workshops: Hosting regular workshops and webinars to explain the Probate Court’s responsibilities, including probate, guardianship, and conservatorship matters.

  • Digital Resources: Creating a user-friendly online portal with detailed guides, FAQs, and explainer videos about the Probate Court’s functions and processes.

  • Community Partnerships: Collaborating with local organizations, schools, and libraries to disseminate information and provide training sessions.

Local Engagement: To better understand and address the concerns of Suffolk County residents, we will:

  • Attend Local Meetings: Actively participate in town halls, neighborhood associations, and community forums to listen to voter concerns and provide tailored information about the Probate Court.

  • Feedback Mechanisms: Implement surveys and feedback tools to gather insights from residents on their understanding of the Probate Court and their informational needs.

  • Public Forums: Organize open forums and Q&A sessions where residents can interact directly with Probate Court officials and ask questions.

Through these efforts, we envision a community that is not only informed about the Probate Court’s vital role but also actively engaged in ensuring that the court serves the needs of its residents effectively and transparently.
